On Saturday, July 20th, 2024, I ventured into Poonam, located at 84 Western Road, Southall. The experience began with a warm and gracious greeting as I entered the venue, setting a positive tone for the visit. My quest was simple yet crucial: to taste their renowned vegetable samosas. I purchased ten of these delectable parcels for a modest 6.00, with the transaction seamlessly completed via card. Eager to dive into the experience, I brought the samosas home and indulged in a taste test. To my delight, Poonam's samosas exceeded my expectations. They have now earned the top spot on my list of favorite samosas in Southall, surpassing even the revered Shahanshah. What sets Poonam's samosas apart is the perfect balance of filling and pastry. Each bite revealed a well-spiced, flavorful interior, encased in a crisp, non-greasy shell. These samosas have achieved what many others in the area have not: an ideal combination of taste, texture, and presentation. While Shahanshah's offerings are commendable, Poonam has raised the bar with their expertly crafted samosas. Having sampled samosas from various establishments in Southall, I have often found myself returning only to Shahanshah. Now, Poonam has become my go-to spot for this delightful snack. I look forward to many more visits, confident that I have found Southall's premier samosa destination.

Visited this morning for breakfast. Fresh parathas on display and savoury was amazing too. Polite staff and clean space to sit and enjoy your meal. They have veg and non veg options so everyone is sorted. Will visit back soon.

We have used Poonam’s twice in the past year for our lohri events dealing with Harry getting our moti choor ladoos and were not disappointed. They were delicious and presented beautifully. So much so we have now ordered for my sons first birthday celebrations and know we will be really happy. Thank you Harry for always taking care of us!

I ordered from Poonams to cater for a Diwali event at work. They were really helpful in guiding me on the quantities required and were able to sort out delivery to East London quite seamlessly. The food was delicious and got great feedback from everyone at the event.

Harry was so great and attentive to me and my husband for food today. The food tasted fresh and it’s the same every time we come. Always excellent service when coming into Poonam. I’m not too sure why there are so many 1 Star reviews but I can assure all future customers that the food and service is 10/10
